Cork Minor Football
May 21, 2019
After defeat to old rivals Kerry, the Cork minor footballers got their Munster campaign back on track last week with a hard earned win over Clare in Ennis last week. Central to this welcome win were two Ibane Gaels men. Ryan O' Donovan of Barryroe who scored 1-02 from corner forward and Argideen Ranger's Jack Lawton of Burrane who lined out at midfield. The win means they qualify for the Munster final, most likely against Kerry again, but it also guarantees summer football in the All Ireland series. Both Ibane players are wished the best of luck in their endeavours over the summer. Best wishes are also sent Ahawadda direction as Argideen Rangers and Ibane duo, Seán and Fergal Walsh, lined out at centre back and full forward on the Cork U16 football team that played Down in Dublin last weekend.
