Ibane Ladies
Another match pack week has passed, seeing several of our under age grades playing twice within the week! Our U12s played their second game of the season away to Kinsale in Kinsale on Monday night, and despite being defeated are enjoying match season, and the development of their skills.
Our U16s played Keelnameela in a tightly contested match on Thursday evening. Both sides gave a great demonstration of football in a what were slippery conditions due to light rainfall. Just a single point separates the teams when the referee blew his final whistle. Final score Ibane Ladies 4-5 Keelnameela 4-4.
The second U12 team were next up, playing Bandon at home in Timoleague on Friday night. Well done to the girls who all put in a huge effort. Finally, the U16s made the long trek to Beara on Sunday for their second match of the season. On what was beautiful weather for football, they had a convincing win over Bantry.
The Club would like to thank all players and parents but most especially the many volunteer coaches who are giving so much of their time to the eight grades fielding this year.
In upcoming fixtures, the U8s match season commences on Monday 20th in Bandon against Bandon. Watch out for other fixtures news and results on the club Facebook page: Ibane Ladies Football Club.
Molaga Tidy Towns
The weekly meitheals are transforming the appearance of the village. All the local organisations are on board and each has a designated project to attend to. The old saying by a wise Chinaman, that many hands make light work is being put into practice in a practical way for the benefit of all. All members of the local Timoleague organisations are thanked for their continued support which is greatly appreciated. A last push is now needed so that Timoleague will look its best at the time of judging which usually takes place in early June.

Timoleague/Clogagh parish council would like to invite all Junior and Leaving Cert students and their families to a special Exam Mass on Sunday June 2nd 2019 at 11:30am in Timoleague Church. A warm welcome is extended to all.
