Community Cardiac First Responder Course
In June 10 teachers from Timoleague National School completed a one- day course in first aid skills which included CPR/ Defibrillator use in both adult & children. The course also covered incidents such as choking & treatment of stroke. The course was conducted on a voluntary basis by local Instructor Eamonn Barry with the help of members from Timoleague Community First Responders.
These life saving skills are vital in rural communities to deal with such incidents should they occur. It’s great to see such a commitment from our National School teachers to make our school a safer place for all.
