Championship fixtures

July 14, 2020

It’s all systems go at Argideen Rangers at present as both championship fixtures are approaching. First out are the junior footballers who play Castlehaven in the opening round of the junior “A” football championship. This game is down for decision on Sunday, July 26th. The venue is Rossmore and the throw in is at 7pm.

The following week-end the intermediate hurlers take to the field when they play Dungourney in the opening round on Saturday August 1st. This game is fixed for Ballinora and there is a 5pm throw in.

Timoleague pitch will also be busy over those two week-ends as it is the venue for two very attractive local fixtures. Ballinascarthy and Barryroe play the first round of the junior “A” football championship at Timoleague on Saturday July 25th. This game has a 7pm throw in.

On Sunday August 2nd. Timoleague is also the venue for the opening round of the intermediate hurling championship between Barryroe and Kilbrittain. Throw in for this game is 2pm.

It will be all systems go. It’s either a feast or a famine. Give us the feast any day.
