Hosting JAFC

Timoleague was the venue on Saturday night last for the opening round of the junior football championship between Barryroe and Ballinascarthy. This was a new experience for the host club in the present climate with many restrictions in place at all GAA venues. All went off very smoothly with Argideen Rangers very thankful to both Ballinascarthy and Barryroe for their outstanding co-operation prior to the game. If all involved adopt a sensible approach, it makes life very easy on everyone.

As an added bonus, the game was streamed live by local man Michael Heaney and this vital service made it possible for those without tickets to view the game in the comfort of their own homes.
