Businesses Re-Open

Two local businesses have re-opened after being closed for months due to Covid -19 closure restrictions. First up was Pad Joe’s Bar in Abbey St. followed by Charlie Madden’s Bar. Now that we are in the middle of the busy tourist season, it is indeed lovely to see the light on and the doors open in these two iconic bars. Adhering strictly to the restrictions in place, both bars have a wide selection of food available as well as your tipple of choice.

Open Air Bingo

Timoleague Community are hosting a car bingo evening at Our Lady’s Well Community Sportsfield on Sunday next August 2^nd. at 6pm. Car places and books can be booked by contacting (086)1697628. Books cost €10 each. This is a new venture for Timoleague and one can play from the car or bring a seat and sit in the outdoors.

Bingo has had to be cancelled since last March because of the Covid -19 restrictions and the organisers are delighted to be able to run this event. Social distancing will be adhered to. Patrons are advised to book their car space as soon as possible as places are limited. Names and telephone numbers are required for tracing purposes.

This is an important fundraising event for Timoleague Community and readers are asked to spread the word.
