The minor footballers made the long journey to Castletownbere last week to play the divisional side, Beara, in the minor football championship. After and absorbing contest on a balmy summer's evening, Ibane edged proceedings on a scoreline of 1-14 to 0-16. The club wishes Jack Lawton a speedy recovery from a serious injury sustained in the second half. The panel switch codes again to play St. Finbarrs in the minor hurling championship.
