JAFC V Ardfield

The hurlers now switch codes as they play Ardfield in the football championship on Saturday evening next, September 5^th. This game is down for a 6.15pm throw in at Ahiohill. Supporters will no doubt remember a great semi-final game between both teams last year in Clonakilty. On the night, Ardfield came out on top by the narrowest of margins and took a first West-Cork title at Timoleague defeating Ballinascarthy after a great game. They made it all the ways to the county final after that. While they suffered defeat in that game the confidence gained during that marvellous campaign will stand to them and this season’s Ardfield team will be totally different to that of last season.
