JAFC V Carbery Rangers

Argideen Rangers will play Carbery Rangers in the semi- final of the West Cork Junior A football championship on Saturday September 26th. Ardfield is the venue with a 5:30pm throw in time. Last season Argideen’s junior footballers also qualified for the semi-final of the championship. Supporters will recall that they were beaten by Ardfield by a point in Clonakilty. The game was held up for a half an hour early on, due to an unfortunate injury to an Argideen player. While in no way taking from Ardfield’s victory, this stoppage and the nature of the injury certainly did not help Argideen’s cause on the night. Let’s hope for a different result on Saturday.
