Timoleague-Clogagh Parish Easter Notices
Blessed palms are available in both churches be taken to your homes. Also
available from both churches are booklets for the Holy Thursday, Good Friday
and Holy Saturday ceremonies.This will enable you to take an active part in the
ceremonies as they are streamed into your homes on these days. There is no
need to return the booklets.
Mass of the Lord’s Supper, Holy Thursday, April 1st at 4pm will be live streamed
from Timoleague. Stations of the Cross on Good Friday, April 2nd will be
available at 12 noon. Good Friday is a day of fast and abstinence. Easter vigil,
Saturday 3rd. April with Bishop Fintan Gavin will be live streamed for the whole
diocese from the Cathedral of St Mary and St Ann, Cork at 9pm. I suggest that
you light a candle in your home for this ceremony. Easter Sunday mass and
blessing of Easter holy water will be live streamed at 10am from Timoleague.
Blessed Easter water will be available after this mass from both churches. Please bring
your own container for the water. Links for all these are available on Timoleague

Confessions Holy Saturday April 3rd. 11-12noon in Timoleague church. Covid
guidelines will be adhered to with regard to social distancing etc. With regard
to Easter offerings and the current Covid guidelines Fr Hickey asks that you
would place your offerings in an envelope with your name and address there on
and either hand in to his own house or else place in the candle shrines in either
Timoleague or Clogagh churches, these will be emptied at regular intervals. Fr
Hickey thanks you in advance for your offerings.
Both Timoleague and Clogagh churches are open for private prayer. You might
come in during the coming week and pray your own Stations of the Cross.
