Intermediate Hurling Championship
Argideen Rangers Intermediate hurlers were beaten last Sunday by Glen Rovers in Brinny on a scoreline of 1-17 to 1-11. This 2020 relegation fixture was the last chance for Argideen to retain their current grading. Whilst one can point to the terrible run of bad luck and injuries over the last year, the realities are that performances on the pitch have not been of the standard required and the results don't lie. Gerry Crowley who suffered a serious injury during the game is wished a speedy recovery. The team will now play in the lower intermediate grade for the 2021 championship and have been drawn in a group containing Kilbrittain, Grenagh and Dripsey. Team; Dylan Harrington, Dan Hurley, Joe Murphy, Darragh Holland, Colin Smith, Paudie Butler, Gerry Crowley, Seán Maxwell, Cathal O' Donovan, Bill Fleming, Oisín Dowling, Darragh O' Donovan, Finbarr Butler, Brian Hennessy and Matthew Lawton. Subs used; Andrew Guinevan, Eoin Lawton and Lorcan O' Leary.
