Clock Up Fundraiser
Argideen Ranger’s recent fundraiser was an outstanding success. Last year in the middle of lockdown due to Covid -19, the club decided to hold a clock up the kilometres fundraiser. This really gripped the imagination of the general public who were eager to avail of something worthwhile to do and the amount raised was a credit to all involved. This year it was decided to again hold a fundraiser with the same format in aid of Argideen Rangers, The Church of The Ascension and The Church of the Nativity of The Blessed Virgin Mary. While it was always going to be difficult to match last year’s figure, none the less some €4,222 was raised over the week-end. A sincere thank you to those who organised the event and to those who gave generously once again. Congratulations to Bill Harte, Carmel Crowley and Mary and John Deasy who won the prizes on offer.
