U21 Football Championship
Ibane Gaels U21 footballers had a busy week of championship action last week. On Tuesday night they overcame Bandon in Kilbrittain on a scoreline of 5-09 to 2-06. They had no time to bask in their victory as Newcestown were the semi -final opposition just two days later in Enniskeane. Ibane won a tough game, 2-12 to 0-11 points, and will now play Carbery Rangers in the final in Dunmanway on Sunday July 18th at 7:30pm.

U15 hurling
The U15 hurlers played Courcey Rovers last Saturday evening and after a slow start had a great win over the Ballinadee/Balinaspittle combination on a score of 2-13 to 2-12. The panel of players on the day included Andrew Lovell, Joe Crowley, Sean Flynn, James Crowley, Dermot Dineen, Colm Kirby, Arron Fleming, Luke Murphy, Cathal Hennessy, Dan Moloney; Donacha Coakley, Marcus Kelly, Mathew Power, Dara Wash, Kevin Hennessey, Charlie Twomey, Robert Hennessy, Jack Twomey, Adam Barry and Dylan Kelly. They will switch codes this week with a football championship fixture against Macroom on Saturday July 17th at 7:30pm in Macroom.
