JAFC V St James

Argideen Rangers and close rivals St. James of Ardfield squared up last Sunday evening in Clonakilty in the opening round of the West Cork Junior A football championship. Timoleague had five championship debutants who acquitted themselves quite well however the concession of two goals proved the difference as St. James ran out 2-10 to 0-14 point winners. Argideen Rangers will have to navigate the back door and their opponents will be known shortly as other first round fixtures have yet to be played.
