Mass Time Changes
The 7pm vigil mass at Timoleague on Saturday night last marked the end of an era for now. The 10am Sunday mass at Clogagh was also the last to be celebrated at that time for the foreseeable future. This week-end a new mass time schedule will come into being at the two parish churches. On Saturday evening the vigil mass will be celebrated at Clogagh at 6pm. The 11.30am Sunday mass at Timoleague will remain as is.
The reduction of masses is unfortunate and is a direct result of a shortage of priests within the diocese and the resulting consequences have been inevitable for some time.
Underage Camogie Success
Barryroe under 11 camogie team had a great win over Bandon in The West-Cork “A” Shield Final played at Bandon on Saturday evening last. Congratulations to all players and mentors involved but especially Timoleague girls: Aoife Harte, Ellen Foley, Fiona Walsh, Juliete Harte, Niamh Doyle and team captain Mariane Keohane.
