Recent Weddings
A number of weddings involving Timoleague parishioners have been celebrated of late. Congratulations to Louise O’Sullivan, Carrig and James O’Connor of Midleton: Marie O’Brien of Abbeymahon and Declan Gavin of Kildare; Donal Sutton, Chapel Avenue and Rachel Kinsella, Tralee; and Katherine Condon, Farran and Padraig Butler of Cregane.
Timoleague parish church is also a favoured wedding location for many couples that have no affiliation with the parish. A number of non-locals have been married here during the Summer and it should be a source of pride to all parishioners that the couples choose to be married in our church. No doubt the picturesque location and interior décor together with the friendly demeanour of our parish priest would help sway many visiting couples to have Timoleague as their wedding location on their very special day.
All recently married couples are wished health and happiness all the days of their married lives.
Offertory Collection
A new system for the offertory collection has been established recently. A new parish website has been set up namely: timoleagueparish.wordpress.com There is a donate button on this site and offertory collections can be accepted via credit card on a once off basis or can be set to recur automatically.
Anniversary Remembrances
Anniversary remembrances for inclusion at week-end masses are to be dropped into the past box at either Timoleague or Clogagh Church sacristy doors by 5pm on Thursday. Any notes received after that time will be included in the following weekend masses. It is advised to leave a contact name and phone number on the note.
Anniversary Masses and Baptisms
Those who wish to book anniversary masses or baptisms are asked to contact Fr. Hickey PP directly at (023) 8839114 or (086) 8334562. Now that the number of masses at week-ends has been reduced, you are asked to make contact with your booking as soon as possible to ensure that you get the required date.
