Golf Classic

Another enjoyable day was had in Clonakilty Golf Club last Friday for the Argideen Rangers 2021 Golf Classic. Weather conditions were superb and the course, as always, was in immaculate condition. The club is grateful to everyone that helped out, participated, sponsored and donated to the event. The main sponsors were the family of Lucinda Riley, Keohane Readymix and Denis & Mary Ryan. Dan Moloney's Master Butchers, Barryroe and Bandon provided a great spread of food for the barbecue and refreshments afterwards.

The ladies prize winners were: 1^st. Vera Slattery team; 2^nd. Mary Cronin team; 3^rd. Mary Scannell team.

Longest drive: Betty Daly. Nearest to Pin: Sue Crowley.

Men’s prize winners were: 1^st. Paul Holland team; 2^nd. Denis Whelton team; 3^rd. Brewery Bar team; 4^th. Andrew Whelton team; 5^th. Vincent O’Donovan team; 6^th. Finbarr Lynch team.

Longest drive: Lorcan O’Leary. Nearest to Pin: Brendan Butler.
