The Argideen Rangers weekly GAA lottery draw has taken place in the clubhouse due to the pandemic era restrictions in place since March of last year. The draw made a welcome return to the public houses last Sunday night in Pad Joe's Bar. There was no winner of the €5,550 jackpot. The numbers drawn were 1, 6, 16 and 21. Consolation prizes of €30 each were won by the McCarthy family, Mounteen; Dermot Kingston, Barryshall; Richard Barry, Kilshinihan; Michael Hayes, Shannonvale and the McCarthy family, Mounteen.

Next week’s draw will be held at Charlie Madden's Bar when the jackpot on offer will be €5,700. Tickets at €2 each or 3 for €5 can be bought at Foley’s Centra, Timoleague Post-Office, Pad Joe’s Bar, Monk’s Lane, Charlie Madden’s Bar or from any club officer. Supporters of the draw are also asked to avail of modern technology by using the club’s on-line link by visiting www.smartlotto.ie where one can avail of the user -friendly website.
