Ibane U17

Ibane under 17 hurlers got their season off the ground on Sunday morning last when they welcomed Newcestown to Barryroe for an 11am game. The lads have been training for a number of weeks in both codes and this year they are under a management team comprising of Tony Crowley, Barry Harte, Liam Murphy, John Mc Sweeney, Mark Mythen and Edward Mc Sweeney. Forced to field without star player Olan O’Donovan (Cork Duty), the players served up some exciting hurling despite some Winter cobwebs. Newcestown came out on top 2-10 to 0-13.
