U21 hurling win

April 27, 2022

Under 21 “A” Hurling Final:

The under 21 hurlers of Ibane Gaels qualified for the West-Cork final by virtue of a narrow win over neighbours Owen Gaels at Timoleague on Friday night last. Ibane seemed to be in cruise control entering the closing stages of the game but the concession of two late goals put a different complexion on the score board..

They will play Newcestown in the West Cork final on Friday 29th April at 7pm in Ahiohill so support would be greatly appreciated.

Cork Under 20:

The Cork under 20 team found Kerry too hot to handle at Tralee on Monday night last. The final score of 1-11 to 0-7 tells its own story.Local Ibane Gael, Ryan O’Donovan was a constant threat to the Kerry defence, contributing two points from play but he suffered from a lack of ball supply. Both Sean and Fergal Walsh were members of the extended panel.
