PJHC Win

August 09, 2022

Argideen Rangers won their second game in this year’s hurling championship by beating Dripsey last Sunday afternoon in Brinny. A final score of 2-20 to 1-14 means Argideen have qualified for the knockout stages with one game to spare. Best for Argideen on the day included Dylan Harrington in goal and Bill Fleming, SeánHenchion and Andrew Guinivan in the backline. Cathal O' Donovan and Darragh Holland hit a load of ball in midfield while John Michael O' Callaghan, Finbarr Butler, Paudie Butler and Fergal Walsh contributed hugely up front. A full report appears elsewhere in the sports pages. Ballygiblin will provide the opposition in the final group game on Friday August 26th in Riverstown. Attention turns to football this weekend, with a must win, final group game of the Junior A football championship as Argideen play Bandon. The game takes place in Ahiohill at 7pm on Sunday August 14th.
