Football v Cullen

As a result of progressing to last years divisional final, the Argideen Rangers footballers were promoted to the county football league. Cullen made the long journey from north west Cork to Timoleague  to play the first league game last Saturday. Some fine points from Conor Lehane, Lorcan O' Leary, Philip O' Flynn and a goal from Bill Fleming were the highlights in a 1-9 to 0-5 win. Team; Luke McCarthy, Sean Henchion, Darragh O' Donovan, Cathal O' Donovan,Sean Maxwell, Ger Crowley, Matthew Lawton, Bill Fleming, Andrew Guinivan, Dylan Harrington, Darragh Holland, Conor Lehane,Finbarr Butler, Lorcan O' Leary and Philip O'Flynn. Subs used; John Michael O' Callaghan and Danny Lawton. It's a hurling league match next with Russel Rovers visiting Timoleague for a 4pm match on Saturday April 1st.
