Clothes Collection
Timoleague National School Parents Association have organised a clothes collection for next week. If you have any unwanted clothes in your home, they would be delighted with your contribution. The more bags that are there for collection the more money that is raised. Items deemed suitable for inclusion are men’s,women’s and children’s clean clothing; paired shoes; handbags; belts; curtains and bed linen. The following are not suitable: dirty or wet clothes; single shoes; off cuts of material; duvets or pillows; carpets, rugsor uniforms.
Bags can be dropped off at Timoleague Community Hall on Monday, April 24th. from 8.20am to 9.30am. where they will be received by committee members.
Condolences
Members of Argideen Rangers GAA club were saddened when news came through on Friday last of the death of Andy T O’Sullivan of Myross. Andy was a very generous supporter of the club’s lottery draw each week since its inception as indeed he was of many other draws throughout West-Cork. The club sends its condolences to his family, friends and neighbours in Union Hall. Ar dheis De go raibh a anam uasal.
Sciath na Scol Season
Timoleague National School begin their participation in this year’s Sciath na Scol competition this week. Over the past few weeks, Mr. Mennis has been putting the fifth and sixth class boys and girls through their paces for the upcoming fixtures. This week they travel to Kilbrittain to play the host school and Enniskeane NS. On Thursday they go to Newcestown for games against the hosts and An Gaelscoil. The boys and girls are wished the best as is their coach Mr. Mennis.
