Ibane Gaels Under 17 Football

The Ibane Gaels under 17 footballers played Castlehaven in Rosscarbery on Sunday afternoon last week in the D 1 championship final. After a titanic struggle, the sides could not be separated at the finish. The final score was Castlehaven 2-11 to Ibane’s 3-8.  Team: Marcus Kelly, Ben O’Dwyer, Daniel Moloney, Kevin Hennessy, Adam Barry, Joe Crowley, Cathal Hennessy, Dermott Dineen, Aaron Fleming, James Crowley (0-1), Darragh Walsh, Jack Twomey, Luke Murphy (3-5), Charlie Twomey, Robert Hennessy (0-2).

Subs: Jamie Collins, Darragh Flynn, Michael Collins. 

The eagerly awaited replay  will take place next Sunday, October 1st, at 2pm in Rosscarbery.

The U13 hurling league final will take place earlier that day, when Ibane face Bandon at 11am in Kilbrittain. Also the U15 hurlers will play Bride Rovers with a check locally advised for fixture details.
