GAA notes Nov 21st

GAA Action:

The Argideen Rangers second string travelled to Barryroe last Friday night to play the locals in the Junior C/D football championship. With a mixture of seasoned veterans and youthful exuberance, the side battled to the last, despite two first half goals conceded. Team; Brian Hennessy, Mark O' Sullivan, John Joe Butler, Mark Henchion, Johnny Deasy, Niall Ryan, Richie Smith, Colin Smith, Danny Lawton, Charlie Dineen, Adam Crawford, Michael Harte, Christy Crowley, James Murphy and Pat Burke. Subs; Dave Calnan, Michael Murphy. They turn their attention to the small ball next weekend with Newcestown providing the championship opposition. Keep an eye on social media for fixture details.

Ibane Gaels Fixtures: 

Ibane U21A footballers will travel to Newcestown to play the home side in the first round of the West Cork championship. Throw in is at 3pm on Saturday 18th.

The eagerly awaited U15 hurling county final will take place the following day in Bishopstown. Watergrasshill will provide the opposition for a 5:30pm throw in.
