GAA Lottery Draw
There was no winner of the Argideen Rangers GAA club lotto jackpot last Sunday night at Monk's Lane. The numbers drawn were 8, 12, 13 and 30. Lucky dip prize winners included:John Walsh, Ahamonister; Tadhg and Carina Crowley, Cregane; Tracie Harrington, Abbey St; Mike Sweeney, Chapel Ave. and Marian O' Callaghan, Main St.
Next week’s draw will take place at Charlie Madden's Bar on Sunday night, May 12th at 9pm when the jackpot on offer will be €6,950. Tickets at €2 eachor 3 for €5 can be bought at Foley’s Centra, Pad Joe’s Bar, Monk’s Lane, Charlie Madden’s Bar, The Brewery Bar or from any club officer. Supporters of the draw are also asked to avail of modern technology by using the club’s on-line link by visiting www.smartlotto.ie where one can avail of the user-friendly website. GAA Results
The club is a hive of activity at the moment at all age levels. The adult hurlers lost 2-24 to 2-22 to Midleton in the league while the second team had a merited 2-16 to 3-11 league win over St. James last Saturday evening. The men from Ardfield provide the opposition again on Wednesday 8th in an away football league game at 7.30pm. A home football league game against Cullen on Sunday 12th at 11.30am in Lady's Well caps off a busy week.
Underage Fixtures
In underage fixtures, the U12 panel, fresh from a good hurling win over Sam MaGuires last Sunday, play Kilmacabea in football on Saturday 11th at 11am in Timoleague. Ibane Gaels U14 football championship against Castlehaven is fixed for Thursday 9th at 7pm in Union Hall. Finally, Ibane Gaels U13s play Duarigle Gaels in the football league on Sunday 12th at 1.15pm in Barryroe.
