GAA Action

The county football league game versus St. Finbarr's didn't get off the ground last weekend so it was left to the second string to fly the flag. They beat Balinascarthy in an entertaining football league game at Lady's Well last Sunday evening. The stand out performers included Michael O' Callaghan with a string of point- blank saves, Conor Lehane with some superb scores and James Crowley the danger man in the full forward line. Final score 1-17 to 2-12. Team (13 a-side) Michael O' Callaghan, Richie Smith, Joe Murphy, Adam Barry, Brad Harte, Joe Crowley, Donal Sutton, Conor Lehane, Adam Crawford, Charlie Twomey, Dara Walsh, James Crowley, Michael Murphy. Sub; John Joe Butler, David Deasy, Pat Burke.

The County Hurling League continues next weekend with an away fixture against Mayfield on Sunday 2nd at 11:30am with support appreciated.
