GAA Action:

The second team had an entertaining away league match against Ballinascarthy last Saturday evening. Players travelled from near, and as far away as Armagh and Australia to put the shoulder to the wheel! Some great point-taking from midfielder Conor Lehane and centre forward Mark Coomey were the highlights from a Timoleague perspective. Team (13 a side); John Joe Butler, Richie Smith, Brad Harte, Don Coomey, Joe Murphy, Dan Connolly, Michael Coomey, Conor Lehane, Paudie Coomey, Mark Coomey, Michael Murphy, Mark Hurley and Emmett Harrington.

Some underage fixtures for the week include Ibane Gaels U14 hurling league V Ballyhea on Friday 12th at 7.45pm in Barryroe, Ibane U15 hurling league V Bishopstown away on Sunday 14th at 11am and finally Argideen Rangers U12 hurling league Vs Courcey Rovers on Saturday 13th at 11am in Timoleague.

The Argideen Rangers GAA Cúl Camp kicks off on Monday July 15th under the supervision of Mary Harrington and her team of coaches.
