Medal presentation

Argideen Rangers celebrated their Junior “C” hurlers (winners of the 2024 West Cork hurling championship) last Saturday night in Pad Joe’s Bar.  Club chairman Cathal Dineen was loud in praise for the achievement of the team and thanked the players for their commitment and everyone involved with the team especially player-manager Pat Burke.  Special mention was also extended to Christy Crowley, Darragh Holland, Mikey Walsh, Emmet Harrington, Eamon Barry and Ian Kelleher.

Donie O’Callaghan was on hand to present the medals to the large panel, starting with team captain Donal Sutton.  Donie has been a great servant of Argideen Rangers and has contributed to our club in different roles for the last 60 years. He is the perfect example of the spirit of volunteerism in our club and community. After the formalities were over, Conor and Tracie extended their usual high standards of hospitality to the players and mentors. More photos are available to view on the Argideen Rangers FB page.
