Argideen Rangers V Ahán Gaels

The Argideen under 12 hurlers travelled to a windy Castletownkenneigh on Sunday last, April 13th. Despite playing with the wind in the first half, we conceded an early goal and point. We hit back with a Danny Connolly free. Then a long Donagh Harte ball found its way into the Ahán Gaels net. We kept our momentum with another Danny Connolly point from play. A deflected Dylan Harte shot buried itself in the back of the net just before halftime. This gave us a four point lead at halftime.

Argideen had to play into a strong wind in the second half. We started well with a Jack Harte point. Dylan Harte then slotted over a great point which extended our lead to six points. But Ahán Gaels didn’t give up and scored a goal and point very quickly. However a Danny Connolly free sealed a great win for the team. The team showed great determination in tough conditions against a strong team.
