Junior football league

Argideen Rangers second string footballers hosted near neighbours Balinascarthy last weekend in their first league game of the year. Full back Kevin Hennessy, Matthew Power, midfielder Paudie Butler and Andrew Lovell were some of the stand out performers. It was an evenly matchly first half with Bal leading 1-7 to 0-6 at half time before they eventually pulled away in the second half to record a 1-17 to 0-9 win.
