County Football League Winners

Congratulations to the Argideen Rangers Junior A footballers on winning the McCarthy Insurance Group Football League Division 7 final last Friday against Kilmacabea. A full report of the game appears in the sports pages of this newspaper, needless to say, it was a well deserved win with promotion to Division 6 already secured. The hard work by players and management all year has been rewarded in football and also with a 4th place finish in hurling. The game brings an end to both league campaigns of 19 games in total.

 The management team (which includes Jim Foley, Michael O’Callaghan, Niall McIntyre, Diarmuid Corcoran, Michael Walsh, Declan Crowley, Emmet Harrington, Ciaran Harte and Eamon Barry on first-aid) will now continue their plans for the beginning of championship on July 27th.
