Hurling league

With championship fast approaching, the Argideen Rangers hurling second team played Kilbree last Friday evening in Rossmore. The Carbery Division 3 league game was an ideal opportunity to allow players to stake a claim for first team action, whilst also providing match action to as many club players as possible. A mixed first half showing (trailing 1.10 to 0.6 at half time) left the Timoleague lads with an uphill battle in the 2nd half. Despite a mighty effort, the home side ran out 2.16 to 2.13 winners to take the 2 league points on offer.
