Argideen Rangers and Randal Óg played out an entertaining opening football championship fixture last Sunday evening in Balinascarthy. A full match report appears in the sports pages. From a Timoleague perspective it was a pleasing 2-12 to 1-13 win despite falling behind early in the first half. Superb goals from each of the Walsh brothers, Fergal and Sean, along with a late Luke McCarthy penalty save were crucial turning points in the game.
