Cork Under 15 Camogie

Congratulations to local camogie star, Ellen Foley of Mill Street who was on the Cork Under 15 who won The Munster Blitz on Sunday last. The Cork team had victories over Galway and Limerick in route to the final and after a great game they came out on top against The Banner County.

Cork Mid/West Under 14 Hurling

Local Ibane hurlers, Rob Leahy of Cregane and James Coleman of Carrigeen were part of the Cork Mid/West Under 14 hurling squad who won their three qualifying games over the week-end. This team has now qualified for the prestigious Tony Forristal Hurling Tournament which is held annually in Waterford. This tournament features the best under 14 hurlers in the country - the lads will be in good company.
