Golf classic

Argideen Rangers GAA club hosted their annual golf classic last Saturday in Clonakilty Golf Club, Lisselan. The event never disappoints and the setting is simply stunning. Denis O'Leary, Ross Twomey had a small army of volunteers on hand to ensure the 53 teams teed off efficiently. Keohane Readmix were once again the main sponsor but so many other local businesses and families sponsored prizes, prize money or entered teams. The men's winning team included Michael O' Callaghan, Michael Cronin and Breen McHugh. The winning ladies team comprised Carmel O' Donovan, Deirdre Lehane and Yvonne Kelly. Malachy Lyons, Ronan Twomey and Ethan O' Donovan made up the winning juvenile team. Some more photographs of the event can be seen on the club's Facebook page.
