U18 hurling

Hard luck to our minor hurlers whose season came to an end with a 2-11 to 1-22 defeat in their county semi-final on Wednesday evening in Clonakilty. Well done to Bandon and best of luck in the county final. The players and management put in a huge effort all year. Undoubtedly, they will be disappointed not to get to the final, but it was a fine achievement nonetheless to get to the final four in both the Premier 2 football and hurling championships.

The coaching team of Barry Harte, Vincent O’Donovan, Mark Flynn, Christy Crowley, Danny Murphy, Bertie Smith, Ross Twomey and Eamon Barry (first-aid) have given huge time and commitment to this group over the last number of years and it can be seen in their increased skill levels and enjoyment.
