U12 Football win

October 08, 2025

All roads led to a sun kissed Ballinacarriga last Saturday morning for the U12 football final clash of Argideen Rangers and Gaeltacht heavy weights Uibh Laoire. In near perfect conditions for football and in front of a large and vocal crowd the boys from Tigh Molaga started like a steam train. Hard running and slick, unselfish passing had the Inchigeela lads chasing shadows in those early exchanges. The Uibh Laoire goal was breached 5 times in that first half - Dylan Harte, Jack Harte, Danny Connolly with a goal each and Steve Kelly netted twice.

The second half saw renewed efforts by Uibh Laoire but James Deasy in goal was unbeatable and his long, relieving clearances were a real feature. Ciaràn Wilcox and Zack Murphy defended brilliantly giving a plentiful supply to the forwards where Cian O' Sullivan was a brilliant link man and captain Donagh Harte ran himself ragged whilst showing great vision in possession.

Bill Dinneen, James Keohane and Mike Deasy gave great support in different defensive positions over the contest. Conor Burns, Jack Long, Cal Griffin, Rían Daly, Steve Kelly, Adas Bialas and Arthur Walsh added pace and flair to the attack at different stages. Cian O' Sullivan and Colum Coomey were brilliant link men all morning. Argideen were ahead at the long whistle and Donagh Harte accepted the cup on behalf of his jubilant teammates amidst great scenes after a 5 - 15 to 1 - 10 win.
