Special Mass:
The SMA fathers will be offering Mass on Tuesday October 14th at 7.30pm in Timoleague Community Hall for the members & friends of the Family Vocations Community which is based in Blackrock. This venture is for the education of students for the missionary priesthood with the Society of African Missions. Refreshments will be served after mass. An open invitation is extended to all to attend.
Nightly October Rosary:
The rosary is recited at The Grotto by the chapel steps during the month of October. It begins each night at 8pm.
Camogie Success:
Congratulations to Barryroe on their great success on beating Kilbree in the County Junior “B” final at Castle Road on Sunday last. Local camogie stars, Sarah Harrington and Sarah Harte played leading roles in the 3-8 to 0-9 win. Cliona Harte, Sinead Walsh, Meabh O’Sullivan, Sinead O’Callaghan and Seodhna Walsh also contributed to the success. Noel Walsh was one of the mentors guiding from the side-line.
This week-end is also a busy one on the camogie front with the under 14’s playing Inniscarra in the Premier 1 County Final on Saturday at Castle Road at 11am. The under 12’s play Inniscarra on Sunday morning at Barryroe at 10.30am in a county final also. They are wished the best of luck in both games. Here’s to a triple girls.
