Fundraiser success

Argideen Rangers GAA club and the wider Timoleague community combined last weekend to help raise funds for the upgrade of the community ball alley and the flashing lights at the Community Pitch, both projects being supported by Cork County Council.

 A coffee morning and a 5km walk/fun run which was held last Sunday morning was very well attended by the local community. An army of parents, players and community volunteers (including the Irish Coast Guard) helped out to make it a thoroughly enjoyable mornings exercise followed by a sociable coffee morning in the hall.
