Cancer Connect

February 09, 2026

Donation to Cancer Connect

Argideen Rangers GAA Club opted to donate all proceeds of their recent Puc Fada toward a very worthy cause in Cancer Connect. The club was delighted to welcome Helen O’Driscoll and Sinéad Crowley from the organisation last weekend, and presented them with a cheque for €2,120. Cancer Connect has become a vital lifeline for those who need help travelling to and from hospital for cancer treatment, and the impact of their work is felt in every corner of our community. It was especially meaningful to have three local volunteers present: Diana Walsh, Liam Barry, and John Barry.
