Tidy Towns Report Contd.
The Railway Park continues to be a well maintained and very attractive green space, with excellent pollinator planting. New landscaping behind the public toilets and additional planting at Chapel Avenue reflect your ongoing care for local spaces. I was especially impressed by “The Green Project” which has transformed a previously flood prone area near the community hall into a relaxing spot that is now used by school children and the wider community. The display of vintage machinery with new plaques behind the toilets adds great local character and interest. On adjudication day it was a pleasure to see so many small details being taken care of, such as freshly painted planters, well-presented agri-vintage cultural displays and clear signage around green areas.
