Argideen Rangers Underage
April 27, 2026
The juvenile section of Argideen Rangers has been a hive of activity recently with boys and girls of all ages enjoying our games with their friends and parents. On Saturday morning last, two Under 8 football teams travelled to Newcestown and played three games. The under 10 hurling team played Gabriel Rangers at home with the Under 11 team also in action on the same day. On Sunday morning, the U12 footballers travelled to Enniskeane to play Ahán Gaels. The nursery and under 6 group will begin on Saturday May 2nd at 10am on the astroturf at Our Lady's Well. This weekly fun session for boys and girls concentrates on the basic skills of fundamental movement, coordination, balance and ball handling skills with plenty of fun and games. Please contact coaching officer Dan Connolly on 085 151 8104 if you would like more information. The club's players and parents still find time to support and represent the many school, Carbery and Cork teams who have Timoleague players involved. Many Argideen Rangers club members were proud to watch Danny Connolly ( Abbeymahon) and Isobel Harte (Ardmore) playing with their Cork primary school teams in Semple Stadium, Thurles and Páirc Uí Chaoimh in recent weeks. The volume of players excelling on these representative teams is a real positive indicator of the excellent underage structures and coaching in place and also the commitment shown by parents and players alike.
