There was no winner of the Argideen Rangers GAA lottery jackpot of €13,700 last weekend.The numbers drawn were 5, 16, 22 and 23. Lucky dip winners of €30 each included; Lorraine Harte, Lettercollum; Ned & Gearoid c/o Pad Joes; Tracie Harrington, Abbey St. and Anna Deasy (online). Next week’s draw with a jackpot of €13,800 will be held at Pad Joe's Bar on Sunday May 3rd. Tickets at €2 each or 3 for €5 can be bought at Foley’s Centra, Pad Joe’s Bar, Monk’s Lane, Charlie Madden’s Bar, The Brewery Bar or from any club officer. Supporters of the draw are also asked to avail of modern technology by using the club’s online link by visiting www.clubspot.ie where one can avail of the user-friendly website. GAA Results

Argideen Rangers junior footballers suffered two close defeats in the Division 6 county football league last week. A 0-10 to 0-8 away defeat to Kilmaceabea was quickly followed by an away defeat to Glenville on a score of 1-12 to 1-08. A Division 6 county hurling league away fixture against Kinsale is fixed for Sunday May 3rd at 11:30am.
