GAA Lottery:

There was no winner of the Argideen Rangers GAA lottery jackpot of €14,000 last weekend.The numbers drawn were 17, 22, 28 and 31. Lucky dip winners of €30 each included; Anna Deasy, Clogagh; John Joe Butler, Cregane; Donal Mc Sweeney, c/o EMcS and theMcCarthy family, Mounteen.

Next week’s draw with a jackpot of €14,100 will be held at Pad Joe's Bar on Sunday May 24th. Tickets at €2 each or 3 for €5 can be bought at Foley’s Centra, Pad Joe’s Bar, Monk’s Lane, Charlie Madden’s Bar, The Brewery Bar or from any club officer. Supporters of the draw are also asked to avail of modern technology by using the club’s online link by visiting www.clubspot.ie where one can avail of the user-friendly website. GAA fixtures

The premier junior hurlers hosted Sarsfields last Saturday in the D6 county hurling league. The visitors came away with a 2.30 to 3-11 win. The club will travel to Farranree next weekend to play Na Piarsiagh in a D6 football league match with a 11.30 throw-in on Sunday 24th.
