GAA Lottery

There was no winner of the Argideen Rangers GAA lottery jackpot of €14,200 last weekend.The numbers drawn were 15, 20, 26 and 31. Lucky dip winners of €30 each included; Tadgh & Carina,Cregane; Valerie Beamish, 086 3934xxx; Michael Cunneen, Courtmacsherry and Niall Rynne (Online).

Next week’s draw with a jackpot of €14,300 will be held at Monk's Lane on Sunday June 7th. Tickets at €2 each or 3 for €5 can be bought at Foley’s Centra, Pad Joe’s Bar, Monk’s Lane, Charlie Madden’s Bar, The Brewery Bar or from any club officer. Supporters of the draw are also asked to avail of modern technology by using the club’s online link by visiting www.clubspot.ie where one can avail of the user-friendly website. GAA Fixtures

Argideen Rangers premier junior hurlers lost 4-15 to 1-19 away to Ballygiblin last Friday in the D6 county hurling league. The club will host Cobh next weekend in a crucial D6 football league match with a 2pm throw-in on Saturday 6th. They will look to build on the recent 2-9 to 0-6 win over Na Piarsiagh so please come out and support the team. The U14 hurlers are in championship action on Friday 5th against Valley Rovers, at 7pm in Timoleague.
