League Conclusion

Argideen Rangers concluded their 2026 league campaign last week. They will remain in division 6 in football and hurling after a home win over Erin's Own last Saturday. The 2-16 to 0-12 win in slippery conditions was achieved with good performances from the Twomey brothers, Jack and Charlie, Dara Walsh, James Crowley and Sean Murray. 

Team: John Sheehan, Charlie Dinneen, Jack Lawton, Jack Twomey, Dan Hurley, Matty Lawton, Sean Murray, Cathal O' Donovan, Kevin Hennessey, Charlie Twomey, Danny Lawton, Darragh O' Donovan, James Crowley, Dara Walsh and Finbarr Butler. The players will now focus on championship action which begins at the end of July.

GAA Lottery Draw

There was no winner of the Argideen Rangers GAA lottery jackpot of €14,600 last weekend. The numbers drawn were 19, 21, 25 and 32. Lucky dip winners of €30 each included;Pad Long/Ger McCarthyc/o Charlie’s; Aoife Walsh, Garrettstown, Eilish O' Sullivan, Abbeymahon andAoife Kelleher(online) .

 Next week’s draw with a jackpot of €14,700 will be held at Monks Lane on Sunday July 5th. Tickets at €2 each or 3 for €5 can be bought at Foley’s Centra, Pad Joe’s Bar, Monk’s Lane, Charlie Madden’s Bar, The Brewery Bar or from any club officer.
