U21 Success

After an exciting contest in Ballinascarthy last Friday evening, Ibane Gaels emerged victorious to claim the West Cork U21A hurling title. Racing into an early 1st half lead, Bandon clawed their way back to level matters, then lead early in the 2nd half. A Dara Walsh goal was crucial in securing a 1-21 to 2-16 win. Congratulations to the players and management on a hard-fought win. We will look forward in anticipation to the county section later in the year.
