Semi final defeat

Semi Final Defeat

The Argideen Rangers Premier Junior hurling team bowed out of the 2026 championship at the semi-final stage last Sunday in Coachford. Short a number of key players who are on the injured list did not help the cause but in truth a physically impressive and skillful Kilshannig side were the far superior side and fully deserved their 2-24 to 0-15 win. Nevertheless, the Argideen players battled to the end and this youthful side can look forward with confidence to 2027. Manager Christy Crowley, coach Barry Harte and the rest of the management team have given their all to the club yet again. A full report appears elsewhere in the sports pages.
